Jude Milhon On subtly changing the world We are engaged in a common benign conspiracy. Mr. Fleisch is example of an NGO engaged in benign conspiracy, a lot of the people in the room are engaged in benign conspiracies - the conspiracy to make things better and the world nicer for human beings and allow us to be more human. I'd like to propose that benign conspiracies are not primarily governmental organizations or non-governmental organizations, but rather 'non-governmental-non-organizations.' The internet now allows people who are linked worldwide by a common issue and are not heard outside their locality, to link in as much as their own desire motivates them to an issue that might be worldwide or might be local, to find worldwide solutions for their problems. The generation of ideas worldwide, problem solving in this conspirancy which is planetary, and idea-collaboration is almost instantenous now. Ideas do want to escape. And there you have the idea of noosphere: What you see is an acceleration of cultural evolution now. |
