Jih Chang Yang Jih Chang (Bob) Yang is Executive Vive President of the Industrial Technology Research Institute (ITRI) in Taiwan. From 1986 to 1993 he has been responsible for the operations of Taiwan's R&D center in energy, resources and environmental technologies as Vice President and General Director. In addition, he is Executive Director of the APEC R&D Leaders Forum, Managing Director of the Chinese Petroleum Corporation, Chairman of the Environment and Development Foundation and a member of the National Energy Committee and the National Sustainable Development Committee. Jih Chang Yang studied mechanical engineering at National Taiwan University and the University of Washington, where he received his Ph.D., and management at the Harvard Business School.
