Ms. Joanne Perez Ms. Joanne Perez has spent the last 20 years working as an economist/financial market specialist in London, New York, Paris and Mexico City. Starting her career as an econometrician at British Telecom in 1980, she went on to independent economic advisory at Ecanal Sa de CV in Mexico City in 1984. Her career in financial markets began 1987 with Morgan Grenfell & Co. In the early 1990s, Ms. Perez first was appointed head of fixed income and currency research at Banque Indosuez in Paris and then European fixed income strategist with Merrill Lynch. She is currently responsible for investing the fixed income and currency portfolio of the Asset/Liability Management Group of Banque Nationale de Paris. She received her MSc in economics from Birkbeck College, London and holds the CFA charter.
