Pawel Mroczkowski Pawel Mroczkowski is a medical doctor and cancer researcher from Poland, currently focusing on limb salvage surgery in bone tumors. Also, he is actively engaged in Poland's social and political transformation. He was Coordinator for the German-Polish "Jugendwerk" in Potsdam, Vice President of the European Student Association in Warsaw and Bonn, member of the German Polish Youth Council and Director of the foreign office of the initially in the underground and later officially operating Independent Student Union in Warsaw. In addition, he worked for the Student Forum of the European Community in Brussels and the European Student Information Bureau in Vienna. Pawel Mroczkowski studied medicine in Warsaw and Zurich, and surgery in Warsaw and Tübingen, where he received his Doctorate.
