Dr. Jon Bingen Norway. In 1991, Dr. Bingen is the director of Europa-programmet, a program that he initiated in 1991. Europa-programmet was established as a think-tank, aiming to enhance competence and research in European affairs after the cold war. The program is an applied research center, producing analysis for Norwegian authorities and major companies on European developments. Mr. Bingen has widely published on subjects related to political philosophy, in particular 'realism,' strategy, political sociology and contemporary European issues. In addition, he has translated numerous books from English, Italian and German.
