Christoph Avenarius

Christoph AvenariusChristoph Avenarius is Head of Emerging Markets Trading and Development at HypoVereinsbank, Germany. Before his appointment in January 1999, he used to trade interest rate and currency market products in the emerging markets. He joined Bayerische Vereinsbank in October 1994 as Foreign Exchange Option Trader. Christoph Avenarius studied Physics and Philosophy at the University of Munich, Bio- and Astrophysics at the Indian Institute of Science in Bangalore, and Economics and Business at the University of Hagen. From 1990 to 1992, he was a Rhodes Scholar at St. John's College in Oxford.
